Set breakpoint for switching to mobile view

Hi, I was wondering if there is a possibility to change the moment when desktop view changes to mobile view?

For my site it happens way too late (as I also work with a second sidebar, and it gets way too narrow). Could I for example set switching to mobile view at around 500px width and lower?

Hello Christophe, I believe I grasp your request, but I'm unclear about your mention of the 500px breakpoint. It seems that 500px is a later breakpoint compared to the current one for sidebars. Currently, the sidebar breaks at the Bootstrap 5 SM breakpoint, which occurs at 576px. If I understand correctly, you would like to have the ability to break the sidebars at earlier points, such as the XL breakpoint at 1200px. Am I correct in my understanding?

  • Yes, that's correct.

In the settings I chose to switch to switch to the mobile menu at 1000px and lower. It would be nice if I could choose to place the sidebar below the main content at that same point for example.
Or as an alternative, somehow set a minimum width for the sidebar, so that if it gets below that point it's also placed below the main content.
