I have a 'field value has changed' condition in https://www.drupal.org/project/eca → module checking for changes on fields on a user entity. It works fine on an address field but on a phone number field it thinks the field has changed when no changes were made.

Is there anything I can do on the phone_number field side to stop the array from changing when the field value has not changed? I'm happy to write some custom code to do this if it was at all feasible.

I'm sorry that we haven't replied earlier to this issue. But as @jurgenhaas mentioned, most of us are investing free time to investigate, fix and build modules.
I'm only a co-maintainer and I'm not able to write a 'fix' for this but would be happy to review any patches or MR's.
