Views pagers stop cycling if content is present in theme

Doesn't matter which theme, if content (a page) is promoted to the front page, page cycling stops in any view using a cycling effect. I am using also Domain Access. I realize it is Drupal 7 but there are major modules that mainters refuse to port or have abandoned still needed. Two views blocks both with cycling pagers do work, but add content and they stop

Once was working until the upgrade to Drupal 7.97 and now if there is any content on any theme but the views slideshow pager - it will not cycle. ( I skipped from 7.94 to 7.97)

There was a Views for Drupal 7 upgrade in that update also

I have one domain which has no content promoted to front page and I can enable each theme from other domains where the pagers stopped working and they work as long as their is no domain front page main content promoted there.

In views the preview cycles fine

Also possibly not views or slideshow, but the content placed below the slideshow will invade the pager placing the pic off to the right

I applied the patch from https://www.drupal.org/project/views_slideshow/issues/3309507 →

and patch 52 froom

after which the content no longer invades the pager space, but still it stops if any content is promoted to the front page and the content can remain published but just not promoted to front page

and I applied the patch from https://www.drupal.org/project/views_slideshow/issues/3361138 🐛 Deprecated: Using ${var} in strings is deprecated, use {$var} instead Needs review

and on each patch flushed the cache

When no content is promoted, the pager controls create this huge space to the bottom of the theme

It is as though placing content hovers it over the pager pausing it

and . . . for some reason a "subscribe to RSS feeds" icon shows up with content added at the lower left corner of the content block

    Thank you for reporting the bug, I'm sorry you've ran into it.

    This could be a bug in Views Slideshow too, it can be hard to tell sometimes.

    Have you tried recreating the scenario using a barebones install of Drupal core, Views and Views Slideshow to see what the minimum set of pieces is needed to recreate the problem?

    It happens with any pager - the "Professional Theme" and "Danland" have pagers and they freeze if content is promoted to the front page. I have a view that does not use Views Slideshow and it does the same. No content and they work again. I did report it to views slideshow issues also

    I do not know how to do that - if you give instructuons I will provide it.

    For now, I will just create a pager for content and the domain to page the limited pages of content for the domain.

    I only have two domains that call to D& on the server because there is no D9 port of a few modules I need which integrates roles and permissions with Ubercart and Harmony and Advanced Poll
