Upgrade module for D10 compatibility + coding standards coverage

Problem/Motivation

  1. The module does not follow all the coding standards and best practices.
  2. There is no full support for D10
  3. The README and composer.json needs an update
  4. Need to review the implementation architecture and perform some optimizations

Steps to reproduce

  1. Download and install the module
  2. Try to setup an SMS server
  3. Perform some tests + review the code

Proposed resolution

Fix all the problems described above.

Remaining tasks

  1. Fix all the issues
  2. Prepare an MR for a new release
  3. Create a new release
