Cookbook - Upload file programmatically

Problem/Motivation

Hello Webform Community,

I'm looking to programmatically create webform submissions with a custom module. ( How to programmatically create and update a submission → )

Thanks to the Cookbook Webform which helps a lot.

Except that in my automatic creation I want to add a file to a field. But I can't find an example or I'm running into problems on my side.

Is it possible to have an example (with best practices) and/or add this example to the cookbook which would be very useful.
