I added Save and Cancel buttons to each step in a 3 step form. They are not displayed when creating or editing a node.

You'll need to provide details. What type of form, theme, other customizations, etc.

This is a band new D10 test site with very little work done on it. I'm using the Bootstrap 5 theme. I tested the Simple Multi Step Form module by creating a new content type with 3 text fields (one for each step). After playing with it for a short while I uninstalled that module and installed Entity Form Steps. I used the same content type and created a couple of new nodes and played with it for a short while. Unfortunately I got this far before noticing the CSS problem.

I uninstalled the Entity Form Steps module but the problems persist even after clearing cache and restarting Apache.

I would like to get the site functional again so I can test both of those modules again paying closer attention this time. I need to use one of these modules, so I want to avoid the module that created this problem of course.

Thanks for your time and thoughts.

In order for this module to work you need to (at a minimum):

    1. Add two or more field groups of the form step type to a form display.
    2. Drag at least one field into each of the form step field groups on the form display.
    3. Test form using the form display that contains the form step field groups.

Sounds like you're using the default form display of a content type which means /node/add/[content-type] should be the correct form. It would be helpful if you could take screenshots of the form display configuration and the content type form itself. Also an export of the related form display configuration (via config sync export).

Do you still have issues after switching to a Drupal core theme like Olivero or Claro?

I did not get enough information to figure out why your instance did not work. With that said, a number of important issues have been resolved in the latest release. So I'd like to invite you to give it another try and report back if the problem still occurs.
