Xs on term "pills" don't appear

Xs to remove taxonomies are not visible because they have no height; thus, users can not edit taxonomy entity reference fields.

Give them 1rem height or a 1/1 aspect-ratio.

I tested it with the latest versions of gin and select2 and could not reproduce this issue.
Any tips on what could I do to reproduce the issue?
