Adjust buttons to match new law / guidelines

Problem/Motivation

The European EDPB and the Belgian GBA have created updated guidelines on how cookie banners should look like and how they should work. Our current cookie modal isn’t fully compliant with those guidelines, so we have to update it to make sure we are compliant with the law.

Proposed resolution

We need to have a new look for the modal, that has a short introduction text and 3 buttons that look exactly the same (same size, same font size and same font, same colour that has enough contrast with the background). Those buttons should have the options:

  • Accept all cookies
  • Manage cookies
  • Accept necessary only

When someone clicks on ‘Manage cookies’, the modal needs to change and have the categories like it does now, so people can choose. These toggles should be off.
