Problem/Motivation

Usually editing a form with a different layout than the presentation is very old school.

Would it be possible to automatically use the display settings of Layout Builder for the edit form?

Hello, and thank you for your question.
I have a few clarifying questions because it's not very clear to me.

When you say 'Would it be possible to automatically use the display settings of Layout Builder for the edit form.?"

Are you asking if it's possible to use Layout Builder for editing forms without having to enable the option to customize the layout for each content item? Or, are you suggesting that Layout Builder should be a simple field and enable the ability to manage the layout on the Display page?"

"To use Layout Builder for editing forms" is the important part.

And I think this is really missing in Drupal. Because field group is way too complicated. And it is almost impossible to create identical layouts between editing forms and displays.

    Hello,
I was testing your module (thanks) to make a template for all user edit forms and I have the same need.
Users are not going to edit their form, but I would like to make a template for all of them.
    Thanks
