Installed drupal 10 couple months ago.
ran composer require drupal/google_cse today
it installed version ^3.8 of the module. 8.x-3.8
tried to create Google CSE Search page on my local site
http://global.site/admin/config/search/pages
got The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later.
and when I checked my logs thats the error I found.
I ran composer update and it works now. false alarm..
