I started working on updating the menus and content while at contrib day, Midcamp 2023. Work continues on a mockup for revisions to the theme, which is another next step.

Today I requested free hosting from Pantheon. I created a support request via their ticketing system.
Also alerted Dan Ficker who works there to work the inside track!

In looking at the home page a couple of tasks come to mind immediately:
- Remove the Florida background image
- Change the color highlights to our standard "green" shade
- Edit quick facts to Twin Cities specific stats.
- Remove featured speakers for now
- Edit "About FLDC" menu link in the footer
- Remove "Miracle for Max" menu link (Think that might be a FLDC specific thing)
- Oh, and replace/remove the video
Questions:
- do we have any images we'd want to put on https://dev-tcdc23.pantheonsite.io/social-events for the House of Balls?
- We should write up this page to talk about the kind of events we normally have there: games, board games, Karaoke? food and drink.

We've added a Trello board to track tasks required for launching the website. Feel free to create tasks or dig in!

I opened an issue with Pantheon asking for hosting for our camp website. I got confirmation that the free site is approved!

Returning to this effort today. When thinking about everything we need in order to publish the site I think the list is:
- Have registration link point to an intermediate page that lets people know it's not time to open registration yet.
- Maybe create a background graphic for the state of Minnesota (to mirror what FLDC does)
- Maybe shift to TCDC's green color palette?
- Create sponsor content for the companies we know are sponsoring right now.
- unpublish FLDC's content on speakers and talks
In my view, this is totally doable this week. I strongly feel we should do that ahead of Drupalcon.

We're ramping up on development in this area starting today. Our goal is to knock out the issues in the trello board by 7/5.

I've largely fixed the home page issues, although I've had to make some judgement calls. Given the holiday I be a lot of folks aren't going to be on computers but if you have time please take a look and let me know what you think:
