Ability to hide content node comment field from pdf

Problem/Motivation

Nodes for a content type which has comments enabled show the field for adding comments in the PDF which is undesired and generally not useful. See attached screenshot file.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create a content entity type with a comment field
2. Create a node of that content type
3. Install & configured entity print for the entity type
4. Create a PDF of the node from step 2
5. Observe comment field in the PDF

Proposed resolution

Ability to exclude specific fields / comments from pdf exports

    Hi, thanks for filing this.

    The module ships a 'PDF' view mode. If you visit manage display for the content-type and enable the PDF view mode, then configure it to not show comments, that should solve your use case
