We have our media_pdf_thumbnail version-locked at 5.1 because when we try to update the module to 5.5, it gives the following error when loading the media library (error is only seen in the drupal dblog):
"drupal/media_pdf_thumbnail": "5.1",
Could not apply Media Library thumbnail (220×220) image style to public://spacedracecraslovuspemahispeslulushasibronawidrofrathofretrecimuphuchojemacl because the style does not support it.
