Make media library field widget collapsible by widget setting or less prominent

Having a look at that, I tend to say it's a general UI / UX issue in Drupal Core / Form API.
At least it exists in any admin theme which doesn't implement a solution on its own.

Has there been or is there any discussion on this topic already somewhere else? I couln't find one yet.

In Olivero (non-admin) theme it looks like this. Here the filefield is less prominent, but the fieldset'ed media field is super prominent over all other fields:
