Sort out versions for Media Bulk Upload

Problem/Motivation

The versions are a bit confusing at the moment because:

  • Latest release is 3.0.0 but the 3.0.x branch doesn't have a development version
  • There is a development version for 8.x-2.x but no supported release
  • 8.x-2.x and 3.0.x are identical
  • 8.x-1.x is still around with an alpha release and the only difference is that dropzone support was put into a submodule

I assume the duplication of 8.x-2.x and 3.0.x is because someone decided to switch to semantic versioning. Since there are no releases based on 8.x-2.x, then we can just assume that only 3.0.x is needed.

Steps to reproduce

Proposed resolution

For now, at least add the development version for 3.0.x and remove it for 8.x-2.x-dev so that we are only maintaining the 3.0.x branch and not having to duplicate work.

Remaining tasks

  1. Add 3.0.x development version
  2. Drop support for 8.x-2.x
  3. TBD what to do with 8.x-1.x
