Remove dynamic_entity_reference dependency

I agree, it would be great to sort out this quite heavy dependency, if there are not super important reasons. Just ran into the same question. Perhaps same can be solved using core functionality?

The base type of the entity log entity is from dynamic_entity_reference. It is not a trivial request.

I'll close this. No point in keeping this issue open unless someone first starts by coming up with an MR to do that.

Thanks for the feedback @jcnventura. Yes I agree this should be reopened once someone starts implementing it.
Still I think it's a valid and useful request, but someone has to pay the price ;)
