I think that was a typo in the first place. drupal_get_profile should ahve been drupal_get_path in this instance.

drupal_get_path is deprecated in Drupal 9.3 and removed by Drupal 10.

Can you please update the patch there and add missing bits (if it's not there yet)?

The module will throw an error for Drupal 9 until this fix is in.
That should be noted somewhere so people do not waste their time.
Or state Drupal 9 is not supported right now.

You must be looking at wrong branch since drupal_get_profile was removed in 06d2cd269293c8cd61056c6df989c64a3948dfb8 (12 Dec 2021).
