Problem/Motivation

Noticed that since Chrome 111 was released and also Firefox 111 was released, previous functionality that would work all of a sudden throws an ajax exception.

Solution: upgrade to the latest jquery_update as of the date of this project issue.

Steps to reproduce

Use Chrome 111, notice bugs
Use Chrome 110, no bug
Upgrade jquery_update to latest release
Chrome 111 starts working.
Firefox 111 behaves the same as Chrome 111 in this regard.

Firefox 110 and Chrome 110 did not need the latest jquery_update.

Proposed resolution

Upgrade to the latest jquery_update release (4.1)
Add release notes to recommend to everyone to upgrade

Remaining tasks

Add release notes for jquery_update 4.2 to recommend upgrading if you have not already done so.
