The MaxMind DB file's search tree is corrupt

Problem/Motivation

Hello all,

First of all, I have not found an existing issue related to my problem.

I recently installed smart_ip module and i have a problem related to the Maxmind DB file GeoIP2-Country.mmdb.
I use a licensed version and the database is automatically updated.

Sometimes, just after the cron has been executed to download the new Maxmind DB file, i got this error in log:

Erreur : MaxMind\Db\Reader\InvalidDatabaseException: The MaxMind DB file's search tree is corrupt in MaxMind\Db\Reader->resolveDataPointer() (line 285 of /var/www/project/docroot/vendor/maxmind-db/reader/src/MaxMind/Db/Reader.php).

I really don't understand why that happens and i need help of Drupal community :)

Smart ip version : 8.x-4.2
Drupal version : 9.5.2

    Drupal 8 & 9 are no longer supported. This version of the module this was opened against only supports these earlier versions of Drupal. If this is still something you want addressed in the current 5.x version of the module, please update and provide some next steps.
