Was able to make spaces adding margin to the grid element and then "scale:0.94" with CSS.

If you are using Drupal 10, I really recommend the core grid option for views. I will not be able to fully flush out the Bootstrap 5 version of this module until September.

The "Views Bootstrap" module supports Bootstrap-3, Bootstrap-4, and Bootstrap-5. But the required base theme is only in Bootstrap 3. So the possible issue may be with the Bootstrap version and custom styles. So need more clarification as --
1. What is the Drupal core Version of your website.
2. What is the "Views bootstrap" module version. - Status changed to Closed: works as designed
