Tokens for file in media ?

This is a (stupid?) question about tokens in File Field Path (FFP)

I try to use FFP for files that are embeded in media entities.

I would like to include [media:mid] token in the file path.
I do not succeed with only FFP,
But it works after installing Token Module.

It is not mentionned in FFP documentation that we have to also install Token module, so I worry if this is the right way of there is a more straight way to get "mid" with only FFP module

Where could I find the list of allowed tokens that I can use in FFP without Token module.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You are doing it right. FFP specifically does not define any tokens by itself, and token module is useful in other places like URL aliases so most sites will already have it.
