UnitOfMeasurement is always empty after latest changes

I can see in request log that unitOfMesurement is always empty string.
In the latest commit here https://git.drupalcode.org/project/commerce_ups/-/commit/22d8e72f8aed429e248ad78bce11e29c35bf20a2#89a9626e4ba0febd3651a1f4920f4d2cb3856f62_160_165 you always rewrite CODE attribute to empty string....
