I have checked the "Merge request !24", working fine.
Please follow the below steps to fix the issue.
Create a Font Awesome Icon field
Set the widget to Font Awesome Iconpicker Widget in the form display
A custom field description is not shown to the user in the edit UI for the field.Before patch:
