I think this is a good exercise for @LRWebks. Please
1. Add a global settings page at/admin/structure/homebox_type/settings
2. Add a tab for the settings page
3. Add a text area which defines the colors that can be used for the portlets in the formatCOLOR|LABEL
per line:
"Available portlet colors":#FF0000|Red #000000|Black #FFFFFF|White purple|Purple
The first value is just being passed as-is, so it allows all CSS defined colors. The label on the right is shown for the selection
4. Adjust the implementation ofgetColorOptions()
inclass HomeboxPortletTypeBase
to retrieve the array of available values from this config value
5. Write a simple test to ensure the settings are saved as expected - Status changed to Needs work

This can go to review now!
@anybody, please review this, and I will get to all your threads along with the one still open.
The test should work, however the other tests and some other parts of the Homebox module appear to be broken right now, which leads to PHPUnit errors that are unrelated to my test. - last update
