Location/Venue

I spoke with St Thomas, and they are not hosting ANY outside events this year due to staffing issues. So that creates a real concern as far as venue goes. We'll have to brainstorm some ideas.

We learned that OIT at the University of Minnesota is not able to facilitate getting us an event space this year. I reached to UMN Events planning and started a dialog with their event planner. Details about options and costs will be shared as I get them.

Here's an update. I have been in contact with UMN Events, and hosting the event with the Campus Club is an option. This would include one large space, an area/hallway for vendor tables and registration, and 5 rooms on the floor below for breakout sessions and trainings. I'm working on the numbers, and will share once I have them. I'll schedule a tour if it seems doable.

I also have reached out to some other options, and will share what I find.
