Releases 2.6 - 2.9+ were buggy due to this WIP

It was green since 8.x-2.14, and I intentionally left the warning intact as I was not being confident and it is still having open bugs for now, not necessarily critical, but to raise awareness for those using pre 8.x-2.14, those versions were dev storms.

We'll remove it at 8.x-2.15, or so.

IMHO, DEV storms have subsided, sort of.

A new demolition aka deprecation storm is coming in 3.x :)

2.18 is getting more stable, all features are almost finalized.

I would expect normal or minor bug reports as byproducts from now on, if any more misses.
We'll remove the notice soon after 2.18 is out shortly. I am fairly happy with 2.18, so this can be closed.
