Offering to maintain Simple Popup Blocks

The guidelines for Taking over unsupported (abandoned) projects → says that you should first post your offer in the project's issue queue (i.e. do not start out by posting in the Drupal.org Project Ownership issue queue). By posting your offer in the project's issue queue, you make sure that the project's current owner and most active users see your offer and can comment on it.

The guidelines for becoming a maintainer also says that when opening an issue, you're supposed to contact the current project owner (Ameer Khan) via the contact tab on their Drupal.org user profile page (and/or other means of contact that exists) to let them know about the issue you posted regarding maintainership. There is no record of this being done. Please complete this step, and add the details (who, means of contact and when) to the issue summary.

Ma you post a comment in https://www.drupal.org/project/projectownership/issues/3335545 → about accepting or declining the offer? Without a comment posted on that issue in the next 14 days, Jitesh will be probably made maintainer (user with all the permissions on the project). None of the current co-maintainers/maintainers will be removed from site moderators, nor will the project owner be changed.

New co-maintainers/maintainers can only be added by you. No other users are contacted for this offer.
