Email not sent

Watchdog notifies me that Admin content notification sent to me@mydomain.com but no email is sent.

Using
- Drupal 9.5.2
- Symfony Mailer 1.2.0-beta2
- Tested with Symfony Mailer Override enabled and disabled
- PHP 8.1.13

Create content that is setup to trigger a notification. No email is sent but a log entry is created that a notification was sent.

Recently switched from Mail System with HTML Mail to Symfony Mailer so it could be related to that.

If the problem is Symfony Mailer it would be great if this module could support it.

Also it would be great is the log entry displayed the error rather than a notice if the email wasn't sent.

Currently the symphony mailer is not supported.
