Sync not working

Problem/Motivation

Installed module. Created the association rule with the corresponding status. Set a membership status to Expired on a member. Run cron, or do a manual sync and the role is not removed, even though the rule is set to remove when status is Expired.
This seems to be the case for all the status updates. The manual sync processes through all the members.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
