We get an ajax error on the node layout builder page:

Please try again later.Drupal\Core\Entity\EntityMalformedException: The "node" entity cannot have a URI as it does not have an ID in Drupal\Core\Entity\EntityBase->toUrl() (line 161 of core/lib/Drupal/Core/Entity/EntityBase.php). share_everywhere_node_view()
Use layout builder display for a content type.
In the manage layout page add an "Entity view (Content)" block (under "Chaos tools" section).
