Composer remove leaves _dth_ fields

Problem/Motivation

Was interested to see if your code could help me with my Olivero adjustments. Did not help.

Steps to reproduce

Composer require per project 19 December release.
drush cr
composer remove drupal/dxpr_theme
drush cr
drush cex

    Thank you for bringing this to our attention. After conducting an investigation, we have determined that the behavior you have reported is actually the default behavior of Drupal.

    To address the issue, we kindly recommend that you first uninstall DXPR Theme Helper and then proceed with removing the package from your composer files in order to remove the corresponding configuration files.
