2️⃣ We are now working on coordinating the server-side signing process w/Rugged and the Packaging system to align with the expectations of the client:This is a collab between @drumm, @phenaproxima, @tedbow - and has been taking place here: https://drupal.slack.com/archives/C7QJNEY3E/p1672950642835469

3️⃣ Still in progress but looking at how we could support symlinks [#3319507]tldr; this would probably be only relative links inside packages

4️⃣ Not started yet Limit allow Composer plugins to a known list would mean that by default we only support a few known Composer plugins and a dev would have to allow-list others.This is because the way Composer plugins work we have no ideas which files are managed by Composer.
