Drupal 10 compliance is not met

Problem/Motivation

This module is stated as being for Drupal 10 but it is not yet as far as I can see.

The module no longer functions as it does in Drupal 9 functions in the following set up:

Drupal Version: 10.0.0-rc2
Web Server: Apache/2.4.33 (Win64) OpenSSL/1.0.2u mod_fcgid/2.3.9
Database: MySQL  5.7.24
PHP: 8.1.0

In particular, to restore usablity in D10/PHP8.1+, the following two issues need addressing which I believe to very simple ones to fix for a coder:

1. Drupal 10: Menu items do nothing on click or hover 🐛 Drupal 10: Menu items do nothing on click or hover Fixed
