Community Enabler Initiative

I added the following section to the issue description....

Drupal.org websites

• Enable organizations and individuals to pledge resources (sponsored contributors and funds)
• Ability to search and discover projects, and groups in need of resources (funds and contributors)
• Ability to fund specific teams/contribution areas or the entire project and community
• Enable organizations and individuals to receive credit
• Logo displayed on sponsored projects, teams, initiatives, and other groups (see 🌱 Roadmap to Stable Release 1.0.x Active )
• Number of contributors and time on their organization page
• Credit for financial contributions (via the crediting system)
• See [#13379306-8] for more examples

...it's a rough outline of what we should be able to accomplish with Open Collective integration (via the Funding module), the crediting system, and other aspects of drupal.org.

I would like to include this functionality in our MVP. In Slack conversations with @hestenet it seemed like there could be overlap with related priorities on the roadmap (for instance integration done together with the D10 upgrade). Could we circle back to #3325492-6: Identify and compile a list of additional roles needed to operate → and identify the additional resources we'd need to make this happen?

So thanks to some of some new contributors to this effort...

...I think we might have the capacity needed to complete all the tasks outlined in the issue description.

If we can complete #3343282: Create an initial fundraising campaign → in time to do a proper launch of our fundraising campaign, there might be a good bit of source material for folks attending DrupalCon to talk about and contribute to.

Centralizing all projects and initiatives related to some aspect of sustainability (including sustaining the Drupal project and community) under the umbrella of the new Sustainability team!

Will revise and refine as we get the team up and running.

Moving this (again) as the goals/outcomes align with https://www.drupal.org/innovation/ → and other projects/initiatives in this issue queue (specifically #3421224: Unify and solidify Innovation Hub plan → and the Documentation and Help Initiative → ).
