This is actually supported so rather a big report. And there is some branch confusion goin on here atm, so can you please try latest 2.x dev of DataTables (and upcoming 3.x dev branch which will support D10) and report back please if it works? But thanks for the report so far. We have to concentrate on the leatest branches and backport fixes afterwards to maintain this project effectively.
