Views can't show node title (in search results) when file is nested inside a paragraph

Problem/Motivation

When using views to search the index, the contents of the files are found, but their parent item is the paragraph, not the node - thus I can not access the parent node's title - I can only get info on the paragraph entity (node title is empty for search result that shows file contents). There are no available views relationships to get the node entity (to access it's title).

Steps to reproduce

I have a content type "Page" with entity reference field to a paragraph that has a file field. The search API index is configured with the appropriate processors and fields so the search can index the contents of the files.

Proposed resolution

Is there a way to show node's title in views, when the search result shows a file field that belongs to a paragraph that belongs to the node?
