Hi, just tried to add an svg as the custom logo through settings and it says:
Examples: logo.svg (for a file in the public filesystem), public://logo.svg, or themes/gasworks/logo.svg.
..and I get an error message:
The specified file my-logo.svg could not be uploaded.
The image file is invalid or the image type is not allowed. Allowed types: png, jpeg, jpg, jpe, gif, webp
Only files with the following extensions are allowed: jpg jpeg gif png txt doc xls pdf ppt pps odt ods odp.
Possibly a simple fix but thought it'd be nice to fix.

Hi benjarlett, as per knowledge Drupal image field not support the SVG format not only for logo theme setting. but if want to add a new image field with SVG support.
