There were still outstanding issues from my comment in #12 in the latest version of the merge request... configuration documentation, installation instructions in the installation section, configuration instructions in the configuration section, remove the maintainers section, to name a handful.
However, it was easier for me to write the file from scratch using the README.md template documentation → than it was for me to try to explain what needed to be changed, so I have done so and pushed a commit with the changes. I didn't look at the changes in this issue, just the old TXT file, unfortunately. Since there is a README.md file now, I am marking this issue as fixed.
