Awesome module! I just spent a long time trying to find a way to change the text format for a field in a View in Drupal 10, and almost gave up, when I finally found this module. My task was to change the output format in a REST export file in JSON format, and just get the content from a field, bypassing the fields Text format, and all the filters. And this module worked perfectly, so thanks for that!
Anyway, I write to suggest that you update the default branch to 3.x on Gitlab, since that's the release for the current majro release, Drupal 10? https://git.drupalcode.org/project/advanced_text_formatter
Also, I wonder if my use case above can be added in the README? Something like this? (my added text is in bold)
Of course, this module is fully compatible with any modules that use entity formatters, such as Views or Panels, allowing you to change or disable the filter format for a Views field.
