Ability to use internal: paths / support link field tokens

Created on 19 September 2022, almost 2 years ago
Updated 25 October 2023, 8 months ago

At present the internal: paths (e.g. internal:/node/1) do not work. The reason I want them to is that I am using a token value to obtain the link URL for a taxonomy term and it returns as internal:/path. Stripping out internal: from this is what I need.

Hmm why you do not use /taxonomy/term/[term:tid] or [term:url:relative] [term:url:path], in my opinion the problem is with your token, not with CB module.

Reopening to answer the question as it perhaps wasn't clear in the original issue.

The token in use for a link field, not an entity reference field. I think the question is better posed - can / should this module support link tokens? I will add a test to show the issue.
