Moderation state and latest revision of default language node changed while updating translated node

Problem/Motivation

Facing below issues

While creating/updating any translated node, Moderation state and latest revision of default language's node changed

Steps to reproduce

My default language is English
1. Create a node in default language - EN and publish it.
2. Create translation of that node, suppose - AU and put that node in Draft mode.
3. Now if you will look into EN revisions, there are two revisions, Instead of one. i.e Whenever we update AU node, EN revisions created automatically.
4. Also, When you put your EN node in Draft and Publish AU node. In that case, EN node also gets published.

Proposed resolution

Whenever we update translated node-AU, Revisions for default node(EN) should not createa and Moderation state of EN node remain same as per it's own revision.

    There has been no response in over a year.

    The Drupal Core issue queue is not the ideal place for support requests. The 'support request' option is there for filing support issues for contributed modules and themes. There are several support options listed on our support page → (Community > Support at the top of Drupal.org) and there is Drupal Slack → . You may get better replies in one of those places.
