When I click on a language, it moves to the selected language

I want the language I choose not to move to the selected language immediately, but only after reloading the page

I'm using a library https://github.com/waza-ari/msdropdown,
but I believe that it is not the reason why this problem also exists without it
I tried to analyze the code to understand which part of the code is responsible for this, but I did not fully understand
Maybe a patch will help.
But i don't know how to write patches
