My client does not trust the lesser admins fully, but understands a need for faster edits on Event types. He requested that we make a role with permissions to break locks on only Event node types but not others. The module did not yet support this.
Look at the permission page, and the permissions for Content Lock are global, all or nothing.
Mimic (plagiarize) the Node module's permission arrangement to get dynamic permissions by content type. Then augment permission checks to look at global first, specific second.
Test and verify the patch, or rewrite it to be better.
