Compatbility with core patch #2466553: Untranslated menu items are displayed in menus

Thank you! Patch works together with patch #166 from issue #2466553 in our project (D10.1.8).

I found that the "Hide untranslated custom menu links" setting was not being saved with the previous patch.

Here's an updated patch which includes that.

What do the maintainers think about that functionality and fix in general and how can we ensure to track 🐛 Untranslated menu items are displayed in menus Needs work so that if it's merged we don't break the functionality here?

I guess there's no better way then duplicating the core functionality, otherwise it would have been solved differently already?
