I had forgotten about this, apologies for the lengthy review time. This is good for RTBC, tested against a custom substitution plugin with intended results. Thanks for the tests.
Currently, the selection response always returns 'media' as the substitution method which is probably correct for the majority of use cases. However, this should match what is configured on the matcher for media entities to account for the other percentages of use cases that will set custom or other default substitution plugins.
