Media library content inserting lacks styling

Problem/Motivation

For users edit or creating content with Bootstrap Barrio, the look and feel of the add media popup is not great.

The solution would be to add some default styling

Steps to reproduce

enable modules:

  • Media
  • Media Library

Under text formats ( /admin/config/content/formats )
Edit "Basic HTML"
add an "Insert from media" element

add a few images to your media library ( /media/add/image )

Now switch to a user that has a "content editor" role, not an admin. OR ensure that the theme is set as the admin theme

Create a new piece of content ( /node/add/page )
- Make sure to use the text format where you added the "Insert from media" element

The overlay window will now appear.

Proposed resolution

I have generated some basic styling, but needs review.

Remaining tasks

Need help adding twig elements.

  • Menu - add class "active" to ul eliment
  • Grid or Table view - add div wrapper and class for

Sub-theme loses the X to close.

Add scss elements

I realize this issue is marked as fixed, but I'm using Barrio 5.5.10, and the Media Library widget in a node edit form has no styling. It looks like the attached screenshot. Am I missing some configuration somewhere?

  • I'm having the same issue on a Barrio subtheme. Am I missing something too? My screenshot looks very similar to #13 and the original screenshots - no styling.
