This might be a "won't fix", but it would require extending the restriction to the product level instead of just blocking the add-to-cart functionality.
I wonder does your module hide the products? Or just prevents users to buy them?
I need to hide products with wholesale role for registered and loged out users....
tehre is no module to do that right now
