We can't see user IPs on our D9 site despite having reverse proxy module installed. We have honeypot and captcha modules installed. We have a spammer accessing our contact form who uses a different email address every time, and their IP isn't accurate (shows up as Cloudflare). They do use a consistent string in the "name" text field, but the module doesn't provide an option to block by fields other than email. Is this something you could add?
