Commerce gift card module provides a commerce_giftcards base field added to commerce_order entity type.
This filed provides an entity autocomplete widget the is not configurable, so the widget is always visible, even if that's not required or desired.
Would be great to have the flexibility to manage it.
Make the field display options configurable.
