It looks like this idea never really took off, and it has been a few years. I'm going to close as outdated.
At the DrupalCon Portland community summit, we discussed how local meetup organizers could support each other by maintaining a common slide show for meetups. I have created a slide show that anyone (for now) can edit. Please comment here if you can help improve its design or keep it updated. Once a team is formed to maintain the slide show, I intend to limit edit access to team members.
